About Kojrey:
Kojrey is an ex bookkeeper (BAS Agent) and ex qualified accountant (AIPA AFA). In 2024 he made the decision to make a major career change.
Aiming to start a career in software engineering, Kojrey shut down his small accounting
firm and enrolled in a Graduate Diploma in IT at the Univerity of New England (UNE).
Next year he will assess whether he wishes to extend the GradDip and complete the full Masters degree.
His technical interests include blockchain technology (specifically Ethereum development) and, more recently, finding out more about generative AI and how other machine and deep learning models can be utilised in financial applications.
But these more advanced fields are longer term goals, and at present his current focus is basic Python and Java (both being studied at UNE), basic Solidity, and general the front end foundations of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Kojrey lives in Australia with his partner and their two dogs, and is a dual Australian/Irish citizen.
